Advanced Emergency Nursing
The Center for Emergency Medical Education (CEME) is proud to present our 1st Annual Advanced Emergency Nursing Conference 2009! AEN has been developed to address the educational needs of Emergency Nurse administrative and clinical leaders, as well as staff nurses seeking professional development and enhancement of their clinical skills. Current, cutting-edge topics will be covered that impact Emergency Nurses on a daily basis. Real-world solutions will be provided by national nursing and physician leaders. Attending this course will prepare for the challenges being currently faced in Emergency Nursing.
CEME HREM - High Risk EM
Designed and taught by emergency physicians and medical malpractice attorneys, High Risk Emergency Medicine is a comprehensive review of the medical-legal issues inherent to the practice of Emergency Medicine. High Risk Emergency Medicine is the only risk management course to use actual malpractice and EMTALA cases to illustrate the most important and common Emergency Department pitfalls. In this 15-hour course, the most costly and/or frequent errors causing lawsuits or government investigations in Emergency Medicine are reviewed.
Pediatric Emergency Medicine Boot Camp
Pediatric Boot Camp is designed to meet the needs of the non-pediatric trained physician and other care providers. Our goal is to provide expert education, regarding what every emergency physician needs to know to get through a shift full of pediatric patients and feel confident in the care they've provided. The common, the rare and the sphincter tightening will all be covered by national pediatric EM specialists, making this course the most practical pediatric course you are likely to find anywhere.
